Cons
Not as innovative, global, or employee centered as it claims, difficult to move laterally through the company, headquarters is political and parochial, risk-averse. Change to defined contribution pension scheme, flat stock price has left long-standing options nearly worthless. Strategic planning is done by committee and is concentrated in finance and marketing functions with little technical input. Reliance on Ivy League-MBA totations to develop future leadership.
