Pros

The people. Melaleuca hires great people and the work environment is always positive. Employees come from all kinds of backgrounds and bring a wealth of experience to the company. There are a variety of job opportunities for all kinds of talent and Melaleuca has a culture of working to further employees’ growth. There are lots of learning and advancement opportunities. Management is accessible to all employees and there is an open door policy. Complaints as well as suggestions for change are encouraged and addressed. Melaleuca has great benefits. These include insurance, bonus opportunities, product certificates, recognition and employee events.

Cons

Melaleuca expects a lot from employees. You have to be willing to work hard. Sometimes long hours are required. Last-minute ideas may change the direction of a project and it can be frustrating and stressful.

Pros

- side benefits are okay - it is a median sort of job - I personally have some freedom do to personal professional development on the clock when there is no immediate need for my work (happens very little) - People half listen once they know you have been at Melaleuca after about 5 years

Cons

- No management that knows what they are doing - Not very customer-focused - Don't seek to fulfill their strategic imperatives or strategies or mission - Very hard for people to listen to you because you're new - They don't have a lot of integrity - Very slow to solve problems - Don't worry about making improvements in processes or tools we use - Slow AI usage and no proficiency in AI usage, strategies or implementation - Managers micromanage because Melaleuca is "unique" - Most of the positive things they tout all the time serves only the company's image, not the employees - Don't worry about giving raises in a timely manner - Not goal-oriented employer And I could probably keep going, but will stop here.
