Pros

I think the corporate environment is conservative and family oriented. I feel that the people that work here are friendly, kind, and extremely knowledgeable at what they do. Though the deadlines can be grueling, I feel very appreciated and rewarded. I feel that Melaleuca truly does its best to care about its workforce. I really enjoy what I do and I enjoy coming to work every day. They have really good benefits, some of which are: a profit sharing program, longevity bonus program, an awesome 401(k), health insurance, vision, dental, and great company sponsored events. Honestly, that's the only con I've experienced in my career.

Cons

While the salary may not be as competitive as I would like, there are other benefits in place that outweigh that, I've listed those in the "Pros" section.

Pros

- side benefits are okay - it is a median sort of job - I personally have some freedom do to personal professional development on the clock when there is no immediate need for my work (happens very little) - People half listen once they know you have been at Melaleuca after about 5 years

Cons

- No management that knows what they are doing - Not very customer-focused - Don't seek to fulfill their strategic imperatives or strategies or mission - Very hard for people to listen to you because you're new - They don't have a lot of integrity - Very slow to solve problems - Don't worry about making improvements in processes or tools we use - Slow AI usage and no proficiency in AI usage, strategies or implementation - Managers micromanage because Melaleuca is "unique" - Most of the positive things they tout all the time serves only the company's image, not the employees - Don't worry about giving raises in a timely manner - Not goal-oriented employer And I could probably keep going, but will stop here.
