      Pros

      I love my coworkers and my managers. I love the variety of areas/specialties you can work in MHHS.

      Cons

      The main reason I’m writing this is to address the poor insurance that MH provides to employees. I recently switched from Humana to MH Aetna and I have experienced more problems than ever getting the medications I need. I go to the pharmacy and am constantly met with insurance issues covering basic medications. I was told prior to working here that the insurance wasn’t great but didn’t know the extent of it. Another thing is you generally aren’t covered seeing providers outside of the MH network. I had a great Dr at Methodist who I can no longer see. That in combination with the non competitive pay (huge bummer) makes me think I maybe wouldn’t choose this hospital again.

      Pros

      The only positive aspects I can speak to are the opportunity to gain experience in a healthcare setting and the chance to work with some individuals who were dedicated and caring.

      Cons

      There were significant issues with communication, leadership support, and overall employee experience. I felt that concerns were not always handled appropriately, and there was a lack of consistency and transparency. More effort is needed to ensure employees feel valued, supported, and heard.
