Pros

I'm not doing this pros and cons garbage I'm just going to lay down some knowledge about memoryBlue and High-Tech Sales as a career path. Background: Started working at memoryBlue in Fall 2012, got creative, crushed my accounts, and got hired with double the earnings in FOUR months. I'm not going to tell you not to look at the negative reviews for this company but I hope your smart enough to realize from my PROVEN RESULTS that I know what I'm talking about.. First of all let's start here.. what is memoryBlue? -memoryBlue is a place to jump start your sales career.. An entry level HIGH TECH SALES JOB! Go submit an application to Oracle with no sales training/experience. Your resume would probably be flagged as a terrorist attack by their firewall. They will laugh at you. If I have the chance.. I will laugh at you.. If you think an entry level job means there is going to be a boy scout to hold your hand while you climb the company ladder then sales is simply not for you. Be willing to work hard in a creative manner and you can achieve success. memoryBlue will help you do this if you help yourself. If your not going to try and better yourself, have fun earning a salary that hardly keeps up with inflation the next 30 years. Next question? What year are we in? 2013.. HELLO people we've entered the most lucrative technology age in history. memoryBlue provides young professionals with an environment to build the skills necessary to go out in the field of high tech sales and eventually have unlimited earnings potential while working in whatever segment within tech you are interested in. YES, you will work hard at memoryBlue. You may have a few bad days when people shut you down. Welcome to sales.. not every day is 75 and sunny but if you STICK TO IT every quarter will be an opportunity to fill an ample amount of green in your pocket. It's called constructive criticism. Don't ever be scared to tell management you disagree.. do it respectfully and your voice will be heard. Anyone who goes out of their way to complain about this company just doesn't have the confidence, wit, or work ethic to be successful in sales and that is that.

Cons

Work can be tedious.. but it's called work for a reason right?

Pros

- Good Sales Training - Good Company Culture, Everyone wants to learn and help - Good Managers will be able to provide great coaching to help further grow your skills

Cons

- Your success is highly dependent on what client they give you. If they give you a hard client, do not expect to see those bonuses come in frequently. - Managers are also another luck of the draw. Started off with a great manager, who'd always be willing to help and coach. But then transitioned to another manager who was about my age, not very competent at coaching or advice since he had only been on an easy client for 6 months before being promoted, and would micromanage the team very hard. If you get a bad manager + a hard client, you will not have a good time at memoryBlue since they are already expecting you to work hard. - Pay and the bonuses are very low. Whether or not you'll see a raise is dependent on what client you get whether since it's based on hitting quota an X amount of times.
