Pros

- great opportunity to make friends with other SDRs

Cons

- direct management is truly horrible. it will most likely be your manager’s first time ever being a manager, let alone a sales manager and most of them are managers because of tenure, not skill or experience. - the pay is a JOKE. The base salary is not livable. The compensation structure is designed for you to work yourself into the ground in hopes of making more than the minimum wage they offer initially. - you will be more of a telemarketer than a salesman. Making upwards of 200 dials a day with absolutely 0 strategy to your outreach, just casting 1,000 lines a week and hoping something bites. - initial training is minimal and the weekly training pretty much just rehashes the initial training. “How to reach out via LinkedIn” etc. - most campaigns have no business paying $11,000 for an SDR to dial so you will be dealing with immense pressure to deliver on their ROI from both your campaign contact and your manager.

Pros

Good development for those looking to kickstart their tech sales career

Cons

Low pay, success is very dependent on what client you get. Client gets assigned to you and you have no say in the matter.
