Pros
I am a career transitioner coming out of a 7 year healthcare career. My manager, Joey Estrada, took a chance on me when her interviewed and hired me over 7 months ago and I could not be more grateful. He saw my potential even though my resume was not traditional. Since I've been here, I have had every opportunity to grow my professional skills and network. Joey somehow strikes the perfect balance of autonomy for his direct reports and support. memoryBlue truly wants every one of their employees to succeed and if you put in the work to match that, you'll go far and fast. Cons
The downside is the office culture can sometimes be unprofessional. I don't feel like it's my job to teach other people how to be professional in a workplace. There is a balance of having fun and fostering an environment where everyone can work effectively. I know HR and leadership are taking steps to address this but sometimes the change is painfully slow.
