Pros
Great benefits and paid time off. At one time there was a great home/work balance, but sadly, that is not as important any longer.
Cons
Sadly, there is a huge disconnect between corporate and middle management. Executive directors do not know what their jobs entail and offer no support to their employees due to not understanding what the programs they "run" are. Constant promises are made to give staff raises, but in the end, looking good on the bottom line is more important than paying more or hiring a replacement in a timely manner once people leave. New management are not trained and often ask illegal questions or make illegal and insensitive comments.
