A lot of operations management is the same as the previous company and they have brought that poor mentality into the new company. There’s an internal Cold War between operations and engineering that never seems to end because of the leadership that isn’t mature enough to sit down and talk things through. There’s a constant stream of misinformation and back stabbing flowing through operations. Ops Management has a double standard for employees, and they’re not held accountable for it. They’re unorganized and are always trying to get things done last minute, when things fall behind and it’s on them it’s swept under the rug, when it’s on engineering they make a big deal. No one is willing to be accountable for things and hot potato is the way of life in Chantilly VA.
