Pros

Great for learning, new grad friendly. Large hospital system with various opportunities. Benefits are petty good.

Cons

Pay is mediocre. Constant under staffing compromises safety and patient care and managers often asking nurses to stay past 12 hour shift and/or work days off. Long contract, usually 2 years, more if you want sign on or education reimbursement. Hospitals are faith-based (Catholic) and it is not diverse or welcoming to staff or patients of other belief-systems. Raises include evaluations on participating in staff prayers.
