Pros
Good benefits, the people you will serve with are amazing and very talented. Some of the best individuals I have ever had the pleasure of working with.
Cons
The Executive Leadership of all of Mercy - CEO, CAO, VP's - You are just a number to them. The pandemic proved it when they eliminated 3,200 jobs within the communities they serve in. At the prime and peak of the pandemic when people need jobs the most. They eliminated jobs like it was them turning on a light switch. During the most crucial times when employees could need a job and health insurance, they cut 3,200 of those people's jobs and then try to celebrate now how they have given pay raises to all Frontline, entry level positions. Well of course they can afford to do that when just almost 2 years ago they cut their workforce by eliminating 3,200 jobs during sickness that they claim to make an impact on??? How do you make an impact on the pandemic when cut your people's jobs in the communities where sickness is spreading were lost? You just made things 1000% worse for them with trying to obtain health insurance, the essentials they need for their family, all without a job amidst a deadly virus spreading? You need to own this to your community and the employees you supposedly serve. Instead of looking at recruitment and asking why they can't fill positions right now fast enough! Maybe take a look at how you approached the 3,200 jobs you cut during the Pandemic! You have ruined your reputation in the community on wanting anyone to apply. You want talented, dedicated employees, yet, you, yourselves are not providing the same to your workforce. Where is your loyalty? Your dedication to keep your workforce?
