Pros

There are some good people in Technical Services and Meridian has some good products in the foodborne arena. A decent overall value for hospitals for many of their tests when reimbursement is considered.

Cons

This place smells hugely of old-school management philosophy where motivation comes through fear of keeping your job. There is a constant and unrelenting need to keep up with saying the right thing always whether it's true or not. Insincere compliments and excitement are expected to posted on yammer. The primary product was late to market and has little chance of catching up. Sales and marketing are a revolving door where the best get let go or leave. It's a mess.

Great ClinOps team, supportive, reasonable, and educated coworkers. Very supportive direct managers. Transparent upper management & C suite.

Cons

Lower pay and some upper management churn which makes the companies future seem unpredictable. Smaller company so few CRA growth opportunities.

Cons

Still a lot of uncertainty since the merger in 2021 HR can be toxic - all final decisions made by them based on personal preference/optics Optics are preferred to actual work ethic and performance Pay is below current market rates Upward movement is nearly impossible unless you are a favorite of HR Consistent layoffs/restructuring over the last 3 years
