Pros

There could not be a better mission statement! Most coworkers are hardworking and truly believe in teamwork... most of the time.The Wellness Center pool! Tons of learning ops & skilled "teachers". Overall, I loved working there. You get what you put into it...that's true with anything, though.

Cons

Not all nurses are created equally skill-wise. All it takes is one loud-mouth to ruin a team...& a bunch of followers instead of leaders. Bad attitudes (esp. if said loudmouth belongs to a nursing leadership member) can really harm people -- coworkers and patients alike! Also, if you have a mishap and are injured on the job, GO TO ANOTHER HOSPITAL!

Pros

Your coworkers are the best part of the job. Some unit managers are awesome to work for, but some are snakes in the grass.

Cons

Insurance and benefits are not great. You have to be sick for 3 days before you get to use your “sick”time. The first few days, they use your PTO hours. The administration is crooked and literally don’t care AT ALL about you. There is no holiday pay ever.
