      Pros

      I've been with Meritage Homes for nearly 7 years and in that time I've been treated well and compensated fairly. They have recently gone to great lengths to expand the HR department and it has helped improve the employee experience. You will be challenged here, it is not the environment for being complacent.

      Great culture with leadership team that is supportive and approachable.

      Cons

      Priorities can shift with market fluctuations (as expected) so there are times when expectations are high and pressure is increased.

      Fairly flexable schedule. Good culture.

      Cons

      High stress with very stressed out homeoweners all the time. Corporated expects perfect surveys. CM's often kick major issues down the road to you until you have to deal with them.
