Pros
-Your coworkers can be awesome, esp when teamwork in a home or otherwise is important. -You feel great about what your job does for people who can't do it for themselves. -If you like hard work and cleaning it can feel very gratifying. -Not enough man powered hired for upper management and no way to make more money - no overtime - no pay increase unless customers pay more- -having to deal with customers who are not happy because of something upper management said they would do but haven't, all the time. -You know more about how to keep your own home clean and in some cases realize your place isn't bad compared to what it could be.
Cons
-no equal treatment, there will always be a favorite employee. -backstabbing -gossip like no tomorrow -no confidentiality *what you tell your boss or a fellow employee be warned -everyone- will know about it before the day is done.* -lies, lies, lies. -drugs/sold/bought/used ...it's not that i care what you do on your own time but a workplace is NOT the place for it. -unrealistic times for houses that in some cases are never seen. -long days and crappy pay for what you do *unless you are doing this for extra money or in high- school* -inconstant hours *but then again if you don't care about being home at random times - sometimes early sometimes later* then by all means. This job is hard and not all together fair in many areas, so if your looking for 40 hours and a regular income, this isn't the job for you.
