Pros
As with any job in education, there are a lot of demands, especially if you are a generalist. However, the curriculum and scope and sequence are all laid out for you on the district website and does not vary from school to school. There are lots of technology resources including class iPad sets, technology carts available for checkout from the library,
Cons
There is no down time. Period. You are working on breaks through the day and you are working at home. There is no room for creativity as the expectation is you are to do the same thing everyone else does. If you have a family, I suggest you seek outside health insurance.
