Pros

Good people around you. Nice work space. Low pressure - ghost town at 5:15.

Cons

Technology from early 2000's. Not kidding. Current products and those in development are tired and old fashioned. Talking about innovation won't save MetLife and other big insurers from being undermined by real innovators. Culture 'values' are written on the walls but not on the hearts. Initiative, teamwork which violates an executive's turf, or disagreeing with an exec will get you a severe scolding and blacklisting. Think about this: the executives have their own bathrooms. It's about self-serving, big-company politicking where anyone out of line or out of favor WILL be thrown under the bus - it's just very nicely wallpapered by HR and cartoon characters. If you don't mind grinning and bearing it, then you should be AOK.
