Pros

hard for me to think of any

Cons

As an agent you have to pay for rent, phone, fax and email. It is the only employer I know, where you have to pay them to work. They put all your commissions in a pool(or sewer ) of which only 10% is paid weekly. Upon leaving the company they keep the commissions. And during the course of employment, the management tries to brainwash you that how lucky you are to be working for MetLife.

Pros

I loved my job and my coworkers, and the company's health benefits were outstanding. Leaving wasn't an easy decision, but it was the right one.

Cons

I had a toxic manager who micromanaged everything—checking time reports, tracking lunch breaks, and monitoring every minute away from your desk. They often sent multiple emails to communicate a single point because they struggled to communicate clearly. High-visibility projects were consistently given to favorites, while the rest of the team was overlooked. They were also frequently condescending in team huddles and meetings. Based on my experience, they were never taught how to lead people effectively, and I'm genuinely surprised they're still in a management role.
