Pros

I can’t say enough great things about Methodist Celina Medical Center. From the moment you walk in, there’s a genuine sense of warmth and belonging that makes everyone patients, families, and staff feel right at home. The environment is welcoming, supportive, and truly centered around compassion. As a workplace, it stands out as one of the best. The team culture is incredible, with coworkers and leadership who uplift and support one another every day. It’s clear that people here truly care not just about the work they do, but about each other as well. Methodist Celina Medical Center goes above and beyond in creating a positive, encouraging atmosphere while maintaining high standards of care. I’m proud to be part of such an amazing organization and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking exceptional care or a great place to work.

Pros

Coming from a smaller size hospital but big company like Methodist and known high paying hospital in DFW, I needed more shifts. Since MDMC is bigger than my other PRN, I have higher chance of getting shifts because there are more monitoring stations, more staff taking PTOs, higher chance of staff calling out sick and therefore opening the shift, etc.

Cons

More workload and higher census! Almost 50 patients on heart monitor per station.
