Pros
My best times as a methodist phlebotomist are interacting with patients and coworkers. Although some nurses/doctors/staff were overboard at the time, it was an overall gain. I recently decided to leave Methodist for another occupation. However, working at a methodist brought out the side of me I needed. Omaha management in the phlebotomy section is an absolute mockery. Once you know how to handle your own, you should be fine. Like with any job I grew as a result, and it's a good look when searching for new roles in other industries.
Cons
Methodist employees are severely underpaid. I get inflation currently but talk about going on a limb. Although I was part-time going to school I was begging for them to throw me a bone. It seemed that the more I worked the less I got paid. Keep in mind, I get I'm a college student-but some of the longer-time employees still struggle to this day, as full-time employees!
