Pros
They are good at giving people chances to move within the system to advance their career and education.
Cons
Pay is below market, benefits are mediocre, if you are non-clinical (quality nurse, case management, etc...) there is no clear path to promotion or raises. Because the hospital rewards longevity with advancement management roles can sometimes be held by people under qualified for the job which cause issues. Lack of diversity is also very noticeable at the facility.
