      Ability to schedule your shifts on days you’re available. One week you can work MWF the next T&TR.

      Cons

      Always short staffed so your patient ratio could be 1:12 or 1:30, which can be very overwhelming. There’s never time to sit down & nurses are constantly paging you to get something for their patient when they know you’re busy.

      Pros

      Overall, a pretty strong health system in San Antonio to work for! I really love Methodist's emphasis on community engagement! And their programs seem to be very uplifting and empowering for both health care employees and for patients and their families!

      Cons

      I think that the onboarding could be somewhat more streamlined or smoother. I have to admit that I had to do a lot of driving to different Methodist facilities to get different parts of my onboarding dashboard taken care of and completed. It would have been much nicer if some of these onboarding tasks could have been consolidated into one, two or 3 locations at most.
