      Pros

      I had a really amazing boss and worked within a great department. If you are looking for a short-term position within the company, title and organization looks good on a resume. The first 90-days were great but after the honeymoon period you find out how things really are.

      Cons

      Forced PTO during both the holiday and non-holiday season. No merit or salary increases unless you receive an offer from another company. Low salary ranges. Layoffs for non-essential (non-clinical) positions. Not a long term company if that is what you are looking for as everything seems one sided.

      Pros

      Overall, a pretty strong health system in San Antonio to work for! I really love Methodist's emphasis on community engagement! And their programs seem to be very uplifting and empowering for both health care employees and for patients and their families!

      Cons

      I think that the onboarding could be somewhat more streamlined or smoother. I have to admit that I had to do a lot of driving to different Methodist facilities to get different parts of my onboarding dashboard taken care of and completed. It would have been much nicer if some of these onboarding tasks could have been consolidated into one, two or 3 locations at most.
