Despite it being a known fact that so many are struggling these days, the executives made the decision to not give increases of more than 3% to employees. New leadership is setting the tone that if we don’t hit our numbers, this is what we can expect. But so many did hit their numbers and continue to go above and beyond, so a 3% raise is a slap in the face. What’s clear is the executives (who let’s be honest, are not struggling like many of us) think punishing those at the bottom will incentivize those workers to make THEM more money.
