Pay was less than average. Company will take advantage of your time particularly if you are salaried. If you are salaried they own you. Expect 50+ hours a week every week of the year at a MINIMUM. Most of the time it’s more like 60 hours or more. When they do scheduling they never consider who is on vacation, etc. I watched as many people cancelled their vacations because of the work load. NO family life. Management pushes for more and more and more. Many people put in those ungodly hours and THEN take work home with them! I watched as many folks took work with them on their vacations. People are burned out. Management will ride you like a mule. When I left the company I quickly found out that Metromont has a reputation around town as “The Sweat Shop”. If you want to work lots of free overtime and have zero life outside of the walls of that place, kiss your family goodbye and take a job there.
