Pros

Absolutely nothing good about this ungrateful company.

Cons

The corporate office is a complete joke. The father owns the company, the daughters are the Vice Presidents of the company and not to mention the maintenance company is the husband of one of the daughters. All they care about is money. You can work 7 days a week, answer your phone, reply to texts and emails at 2am and it’s not good enough for them. At first you think the pay is great until you find yourself working 100 plus hours A WEEK!! And nope, no overtime!!! Especially when your a manager because your salary. After no longer working for them it’s been aweful trying to contact them to have pay fixed, ask questions about medical, dental etc. They used to be called RP management and when that company name bombed and went down the drain they changed the name to metropoliatin management to try to redeem themselves. It didn’t work, they still suck. Honestly if I would have known they used to be RP management I would have never accepted a position from them. I won’t even place them on my resume because I am so embarrassed and ashamed for ever working for a slumlord like these people. They made an assistant manager at one property sign a 30 day notice to get 20 rentals within 30 days or be terminated. It’s not impossible BUT really??!!! They make the rents so high in crummy extremely outdated units when directly across the street is a brand spanking new building with amenities for the exact same price!!!! Not rocket science which building won....

Pros

As part of the leadership team here at Metropolitan Management, I’m proud to say we’re a family-run business built on values that have been passed down through generations; hard work, honesty, and treating every employee like family. We’re not just a company, we're a close-knit team where hard work is recognized, and growth is earned. One of our greatest strengths has always been promoting from within. We believe in investing in our people, recognizing potential, and giving team members the opportunity to rise into leadership roles. Many of our managers and key leaders started in entry-level positions and worked their way up, something we see not just as a success story, but as the foundation of who we are. We value loyalty, teamwork, and a strong work ethic. And in return, we’re committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels supported, respected, and empowered to grow.

Cons

That said, we also recognize that we’re a work in progress. Historically, we've operated with a fairly hands-off management style, trusting individuals to take initiative and learn by doing. While this approach has worked well for many, we understand that others may thrive with more structure, guidance, and hands-on support—especially during the onboarding and training process. We're actively working to improve our training programs to better support all learning styles and set our team members up for success from day one. This is a key focus for us moving forward, and we're excited about the improvements already underway.
