Pros
Management was lacks with dentist and doctor appointments to not use any PTO. Allowed to visit projects to have a hands on learning experience if the project was near companies location. Michels University was helpful to learn basic career programs like excel.
Cons
Raises and career advancement takes 5+ years. Knew someone who received a promotion after 8 years with the company. Raises weren't based on merit, but on seniority which lead to lack of wanting to learn and grow since there was no reward. 45hr work weeks. Michels University lacked other career development programs such as Construction Management, Construction Financing, or Scheduling.
