Pros

The foremen knew their stuff and were fair and friendly.

Cons

I went through 10-12 hours of safety training and orientation, most of which did not apply to my job description nor the work I would be doing on the jobsite. At no time during my onboarding or subsequently (that I can recall) did anyone with the company mention Covid safety protocol, e.g. vaccination, masking, maintaining social distance, or staying home if you had symptoms. Out of at least 50 Michels employees and sub-contractors on the jobsite, there was zero mask wearing that I saw, inside or outside. I hope that Michels has started a comprehensive Covid safety program since this time. All companies providing in-person employment should. It's the right thing to do, and it will save them money if fewer of their employees are out sick. Deducting one additional star for frequent problems with paycheck accuracy and timeliness.
