Pros
Average salary. Some decent people work there - a real them and us attitude so you need people around you to vent to who you can trust.
Cons
Average pay, no working structure. Awful awful management. A real who you know click. Senior management are totally disconnected from every day life. Redundancies and lay offs were made with no forethought by a HR representative who by her own admission didn't understand UK redundancy law. They then attempted to REHIRE these same people within 2 months when they realised they had laid off too many.... Secretive middle management who have no say in the direction of the company, and take any queries or concerns raised as a personal slight. No lists, no pre-existing relationships. Customers don't like having to deal with MF or their antiquated products and you are constantly encouraged to either trap them into contracts or sue due to "license verification". Careers go here to die - I left after 2 years of promises to progress through the business. Take all promises as lies and ALWAYS seek written contracts. Kevin (CEO) is fine on a personal level having spent time with him on a few occasions but by his own admission he seeks to build the company so a big player like Microsoft purchase them, and he will cut and run. Hence why he keeps purchasing shares. Entirely his right to do this, but something to consider for the long term viability of starting a career here.
