A Complete waste of Brain Cells and Time - Manufacturing Specialist Microchip Technology Employee Review

Our culture is terrible! Very old school, no innovation, outdated tools, manual processes, no employee empowerment in the fab. Duplicated computer systems in the fab in a sorry attempt to prevent scrap because they don't want to spend the $$ to modernize their systems (really convoluted). Lots of partiality from the Group Leads to certain team members. No opportunities for advancement unless your related to the right people if you know what I mean. Pay scale below industry standard. Every two years they cut our hours and put us on Partial Unemployment. We are always playing financial catch up.
