Cons
The pay is acceptable, but you will be seriously pressed to find a place to live near the main site in Boise. Housing availability for families is severely limited while apartments, while more numerous, have become significantly more expensive to rent. Between that and the rise of the cost of living in the area, the base pay here is difficult to cover everything if you didn't show up with some monetary reserves.
People are trying their best, but training very much needs attention getting better organized and structured. Especially working in an R&D environment with so many different dangerous materials and equipment.
Even more seriously, there is some doubt that you can get proper support if you are actually injured in this environment. You may find yourself getting told whatever injury you suffered at work is a "pre-existing condition". This is not a hypothetical.
