Pros

Flex Time. Good training program. Pretty good health benefits and decent 401k.

Cons

The company environment is just very stiff and uptight. Overall, the company treats its employees like they don't trust them or they're children. Having to badge in every day is fine because it's a bank and it's for security purposes. But a lot of other things started to get irritating. Clocking in and out. Monitoring email/internet usage and creating monthly reports on those. Dress code. Tracking your productivity by keeping a record of what it is you worked on every minute of the day. Also, one day we had a snowstorm and nobody could get to work because of the roads being so bad. So instead of giving everyone the day off, they just made everyone take 8 hours of vacation! There's really no room for advancement and most of management either didn't know a lot of their subordinates and didn't care. Ultimately, they don't really care that they treat their employees badly because they're expendable and they'll be able to find someone in a week's notice easily.

Pros

PTO, paid holidays, sales incentives, 1 year ($1,500) & 3 year bonus ($5,000)

Cons

Terrible management, deliberately short staffed, lack of opportunity for advancement. Whoever your BCM is will determine your success. If you get stuck with a micromanaging tyrant, they will make your life miserable with no end in sight. MidFirst will not fire an employee no matter how toxic they make the work environment. All the company cares about is profits and good reviews. They don't take a comprehensive look at customer or employee experience/satisfaction. Instead they judge everything based off of JD power surveys that are scored based off of arbitrary responses like: did the employee call you by your name? Did they offer you any products?. Even if that customer leaves a glowing comment and says they would 10/10 recommend friends to bank at MidFirst, if they answered no to any other questions then your score will plummet, and that score will be used against you in performance reviews.
