Pros

I had a great team that I worked with, my manager was the best, there was no micro managing, there was great communication and a ton of work to be done. This place is good for an entry level job but not to stay here long term.

Cons

- Unfortunately, not remote first friendly so that was a big upset to many people. - The pay is very low, 50k for 2 years as systems engineer for me. - The tools and technologies are outdated, literally no one uses MOVEit. - I never got a chance to talk about growth opportunities within the company, or to create a career plan, so it just felt like I was stuck.

At MCM, we pride ourselves in being able to provide our employees with ample internal growth opportunities and career mapping tools, in addition to competitive packages. We understand that there are changes occurring in the modern workplace that are pushing some companies to adopt a hybrid or remote workforce strategy for some of their roles – however, due to regulatory and compliance reasons, this is not something MCM can do at this time. We appreciate the suggestions you have provided on how we can make our company culture even better and will share it with the relevant teams.

- incredibly flexible (hybrid, 1 day in person) - great mentorship and guidance - happy employee life and work balance

Cons

- more independent and not much need for regular face-to-face interactions (pro/con depending on your preferences)
