Pros
Strong Brand Awareness with significant domestic mindshare in most divisions. Products are known for reliability and performing the way they are intended to perform. People at all levels definitely have a "We are in this together" mindset and we succeed as one unit. Compensation is fair to good when compared to other medical device companies, but if you are a Top 20% sales rep, then it can be great! Healthy competitive nature between sales reps encourages collective success and improvement.
Cons
Can be on the ULTRA conservative side when evaluating products and ideas that might present an increased risk. Due to long tenure of most employees, career advancement is very slow and almost non-existent. 401K match is substandard when compared to other medical device companies.
