Pros
Money . You can make very good paychecks, but you will lose all social life with the exception of the ships personel. Good if you have no family or want no family abd only want to make money.
Cons
No life outside of the job. Hard to get relieved on time, company does not care about you, a lot of the senior officers are little dictators who are rather egotistical.
