      Pros

      Good for getting seatime on your license and going to ports.

      Cons

      Terrible timing. They require a minimum of 4 months on and a maximum of 1 month off. I was lucky to get off after sailing for 6 months straight. Less than 1 month on leave they wanted me back and threatened to fire me.
