We are very sorry that you feel the way you have expressed. It is not our intention to make any associate at our company feel less valuable than any other associate. We sincerely believe that every single person on our team in all departments is important to our ability to operate efficiently and effectively. And all have played a very important role in our success. We are working hard to incorporate all associates and departments into our awards and recognition programs, which we recently expanded to include awards for our construction team as announced on our all-associates call. There are certainly more additions to come and we’d like to get your thoughts on any other awards we should include for the teams you mentioned. In addition, we’d like to hear more about what you believe we could do to ensure that none of our associates feel unappreciated or taken for granted, as culture is our No. 1 priority. Please reach out to me as soon as possible at HRMgmt@MCRTrust.com so we can address them immediately. — Jerry, Human Resources

Pros

Amazing management from the Millcreek team. They are fantastic when it comes to training their leasing professionals, and you have the opportunity for growth if you wish to pursue property management eventually.

Cons

The company is quite small compared to larger property management companies. Not necessarily a con but keep that in mind

Pros

Frontline staff are reliable and helpful

Cons

There is a major gap between the company’s focus on numbers and the actual well-being of the frontline staff. Employees are facing heavy financial and emotional stress due to low pay, unclear communication, and rigid housing policies. * Management Disconnect: Leadership focuses heavily on meeting targets but seems to overlook employee morale, stress levels, and retention. * Unclear Communication: Directions coming from regional and upper management are often muddy and inconsistent, making frontline work harder than it needs to be. * Wages vs. Cost of Living: Full-time employees working 40+ hours a week are struggling to make ends meet, which should not happen with a standard full-time schedule. * Onsite Housing and Late Fees: There is a clear issue when employees cannot afford to rent the very properties they work in. Charging struggling onsite staff a $200 late fee—instead of working with them on a manageable payment plan—creates an unfair financial cycle and damages company loyalty.
