Pros

Benefits are inexpensive and generous employer contribution to HSA

Cons

Pretty much everything at Millennium Health falls under the Con section. I’ll try and keep this brief because my only reason for this review is to hopefully save someone from making a huge mistake by accepting a job there. The leadership team lack the skills to inspire and motivate. What it feels like when you are there is that you are on a sinking ship and instead of trying to find a way off the ship, leadership is trying to plug the holes with band-aids. I worked there as we went through several CEO’s and the place only got worse. There is no review process which translates to many people going years without a merit increase. There is no budget for training or classes, hence little career development opportunities. High turnover, which contributes to the lack of organization, poor communication and overall chaos. Honestly, what I think it comes down to is the people running the show don’t have the skills to save that place. I can appreciate that some are trying but I believe a good amount of people there are only in it for themselves. If you have interviewed there don’t buy into the “we’re on the way up” speech, pay attention to how bad it is because all indicators are that it’s getting worse not better.

Pros

Job security is TIGHT. You have to do something really stupid to let go. The turnover rate for the company is overall really high due to people coming in fresh and finding other opportunities elsewhere Your schedule remains pretty consistent unless you start saying you are flexible, then they can/will change it every month. They have an amazing CTS program but Goodluck getting in. They only choose their favorites.

Cons

Other than that, everything sucks. Overworked and underpaid is an UNDERSTATEMENT. Weekly team meetings are a joke because they always ask why are we stressed then proceed to give 3 new things we have to start doing for our processes then get upset when we make mistakes. Favoritism obviously is a big issue anywhere you go but here it’s ridiculous.ive seen too many hard workers go unnoticed because they aren’t buddy buddy with the supervisors. And those that are, get promotions, employees of the month, etc. it’s very disheartening. I can count on one hand the amount of times someone actually earned employee of the month and I’ve been here two years.
