Pros
-The best product in the business, beautiful furniture -Teams are knowledgeable and passionate about Design like no other workplace- strong sense of community at the mid and entry level -Some teams can be remote -There is a vision for the future from every leader at Millerknoll right now -web-related tools and investment in technology
Cons
-A once very strong sense of culture and acceptable work life balance has gone out the window in the last year. Very imbalanced practices- some teams forced to go into office 4 days a week (no one wants to), others 1, others fully remote. -Culturally, small moves that would have big impact are not embraced by leadership (HOW is Millerknoll not honoring Juneteenth off as a holiday in 2024??) -No cost of living increases. Pay used to be more competitive- now is about 20% less than if you ask around at any NY based or even nearby CT companies -High stress environment- every issue is the end of the world when business is not doing well as a result of the Knoll acquisition -There are so many new Directors and VPs, while talent at the entry/mid level have had key positions not backfilled for 1-2 years and have had to turn multiple positions into one (with more deliverables of course) -Andi Owen
