Pros
- work/life balance is good - commission plan is good for the lucky ones who make their goal numbers - salary/commission ratio is 70%/30% - base salary is decent - average benefits
Cons
- sales targets (quarterly goals) can be very unrealistic making it impossible at times to receive a commission payment - constant changes in sales approach - tuition reimbursement plan is ridiculous - extremely outdated IT systems - no room for career advancement / no career path (there are promotions within the sales ranks but it is more or less a title change with no additional responsibilities) - not many materials to sell that offer a competitive advantage - can be gossipy
