Pros

- Lots of freedom, very open culture. - No peer pressure or hierarchy structure followed. - Management keeps on surprising us with bonuses, free gifts, add ons. - Cool internal system for the organization (ourgoalplan) - Ultimate internal/ employee connect tool. - Pay outs for technology level certification completed by individual. - Work from home/ unlimited leave policy - Free gifts (each employee is getting an iPAD Mini or same range device) - There is no variable salary structure, if there is any variable, its over and above the salary and not included into the cost to the company usually. - There is always a element of surprise, the compensation/ salary structure, appraisal practices, leave practices are all accompanied by with new rules every year, this is something very interesting.

Cons

- Facility is poorly maintained, (rest rooms, certain working areas, canteen, conference rooms) - No appraisal discussions (you are not asked to give your feedback, not even for your sub-ordinates), there is no formal process - Work process/ quality of projects acquired for execution, expectation setting with customer done by sales. - QA process and tools used in projects.

Pros

Based on my own experience in my location and my team: 1) Flexible in terms of attire and time(just get your work done and leave, no need to stick around needlessly). 2) Decent learning curve to start off with 3) Very friendly and open manager 4) There is at least a vague vision to the company

Cons

1) Mid-level managers are unambitious and completely satisfied with rote and mundane work 2) Weird decision making when it comes to incentives to employees 3) Vision is blurry and keeps getting warped and postponed seemingly without reasons 4) Learning becomes non-existent a year into the company

Pros

Work from home(occasionally). Free lunch. Competitive Salaries, better than other industry leaders in IT. Friendly Team and employees.

Cons

Needs a thoroughly planned policies, that do not keep changing. Policies that are practical. Find opportunities that let developers work on decent technologies in market, instead the ones that are fading or those technologies very few are interested in. Fix the food quality.
