Pros

1. Good projects and learning opportunities for freshers 2. Every Friday work from home 3. Free lunch 4. No dress code 5. Direct client interactions

Cons

Where do I start ?? 1. No job security. Any one can get fired any time. It is even mentioned in the offer letter that no person will get fired. But a lot of people are asked to resign over last few months. 2. Even after serving the company for more than 2 years you will be asked to attend an internal interview where you are asked about linked lists, sorting, prime numbers, palindromes, string reversals etc.(Yes,you read it right). Depending on this interview they will decide whether to keep you in the company or not. Never even heard of anything like this anywhere else. 3. Some times you wonder what is going on in CEO's mind. He announces a new company policy every 3 months. Why can't he stick to one policy and follow that ? Initially we had lot of respect towards him, nowadays even reading his emails are scary. They should think about appointing some one with proper HR management skills. 4. Terrible work environment. Management thinks we are robots and money is the only thing we need in life. 5. Very few holidays. Again there is another non sense policy for leaves too.

Pros

Based on my own experience in my location and my team: 1) Flexible in terms of attire and time(just get your work done and leave, no need to stick around needlessly). 2) Decent learning curve to start off with 3) Very friendly and open manager 4) There is at least a vague vision to the company

Cons

1) Mid-level managers are unambitious and completely satisfied with rote and mundane work 2) Weird decision making when it comes to incentives to employees 3) Vision is blurry and keeps getting warped and postponed seemingly without reasons 4) Learning becomes non-existent a year into the company

Pros

Work from home(occasionally). Free lunch. Competitive Salaries, better than other industry leaders in IT. Friendly Team and employees.

Cons

Needs a thoroughly planned policies, that do not keep changing. Policies that are practical. Find opportunities that let developers work on decent technologies in market, instead the ones that are fading or those technologies very few are interested in. Fix the food quality.
