Pros

-There were but times have changed. -Some projects are great to work. -WFH flexibility. -Flexible working hours.

Cons

-Alert for freshers: Request for your PF account on the very first day of your joining else you'll regret later. -No help from HRs. -Salaries are mostly delayed. -Don't expect benefits in lockdown situation. -Very low appraisals and no official process and not even a hike/appraisal letter provided. It only gets reflected in paybooks. -No promotion proof. They'll provide only upon request. -Mid level seniors mostly pile their work up and hand over to juniors/freshers. -They can handover the whole project to a less experienced person as well which creates conflicts in the team. -Managers only care about billing. They'll mostly ignore employees' concerns.

Pros

Based on my own experience in my location and my team: 1) Flexible in terms of attire and time(just get your work done and leave, no need to stick around needlessly). 2) Decent learning curve to start off with 3) Very friendly and open manager 4) There is at least a vague vision to the company

Cons

1) Mid-level managers are unambitious and completely satisfied with rote and mundane work 2) Weird decision making when it comes to incentives to employees 3) Vision is blurry and keeps getting warped and postponed seemingly without reasons 4) Learning becomes non-existent a year into the company

Pros

Work from home(occasionally). Free lunch. Competitive Salaries, better than other industry leaders in IT. Friendly Team and employees.

Cons

Needs a thoroughly planned policies, that do not keep changing. Policies that are practical. Find opportunities that let developers work on decent technologies in market, instead the ones that are fading or those technologies very few are interested in. Fix the food quality.
