Pros

Healthcare, dental, vision, equipment, internet and stipend. All the benefits. 80 hours pto, 16 floating holiday and 8 holidays Benefits are great. Training was great. Everyone was super helpful with answering questions.

Cons

This is on the phones all day job. Inbound calls can range from back to back for hours to 2-7 min apart. The longest I’ve seen calls apart was 15 minutes. That’s very rare. The teams are big on metrics and reaching numbers so if you don’t have the ability to buckle down and meet some requirements this won’t be for you. Examples: average handle time of the call, after call work ( typing your notes) Management was great the first year and then we had one let go, and another left. The managers now are okay. I feel like they have no one else to fill in those roles so that have to keep what they have. I’m not impressed with the team leads. There was a big wave of layoffs last year done in a really messed up way. The CEO of the company emailed everyone and told everyone that in 15 minutes he would be sending out and email to everyone let go. For someone who was on the phone at the time, this was a horrible experience. They did promise that front line agents were safe but started hiring off shore reps so then of course there was talk of us training our replacements. Since then there have been more promises of job security. In regards to promotions. I received one promotion after receiving my bonus 3 months in a row and that was it. I am at a stand still. It seems as no roles are opening up to move up and that’s very unfortunate.

Pros

- My manager seemed to be very supportive and eager to set me up for success. - Interesting technology stack and space to improve things. - I was genuinely happy with the work I was doing at the time. - Good designers and developers on the product team. - Team members who were part of the layoff were extremely supportive, beyond any expectation I could have for that situation I found myself in. I will be forever grateful to that community.

Cons

- The CEO explicitly assured the company at an offsite that finances were great and layoffs wouldn't happen. Two weeks later, I was laid off. - The layoff occurred just four weeks before my scheduled paternity leave, causing immense, unnecessary anxiety. - Once you are out, you are erased. Management and former peers completely iced me out and never reached out again, exposing a deeply cold, phony and transactional culture.
