Pros

Amazing co-workers, everyone is going through the same disgusting treatment so we all can relate

Cons

The company relies on outdated technology, which can be frustrating for those who are eager to work with more modern tools and systems. If you're someone who enjoys staying up-to-date with the latest tech, this can feel limiting and make projects less engaging. Career growth is another issue here. Opportunities for advancement are scarce, and it often feels like there’s little room for professional development or upward mobility. For those looking to grow within a company, this can be a significant drawback. The work environment can be stressful at times. Management isn't always receptive to employee feedback, which creates a feeling of disconnect between the leadership and the rest of the team. This lack of open communication can make it difficult to feel fully supported or heard. Lastly, compensation could be more competitive. The pay and benefits offered here don’t always match up with what other companies in the industry are providing, which may be disappointing for employees looking for stronger compensation packages. One major concern is the lack of flexibility when it comes to basic needs, like using the restroom. Employees often feel like they have to "beg" for permission, which can be demeaning and frustrating. This level of micromanagement creates an uncomfortable environment, where something as simple as taking a bathroom break becomes unnecessarily stressful. Such rigid policies make it hard to feel trusted or respected as a professional, which can contribute to overall dissatisfaction in the workplace. One of the most frustrating aspects of working here is the lack of responsiveness from management. When employees raise concerns or offer feedback, management often dismisses it by saying things like, "I've been in management for a long time, and I know what I’m doing." This attitude makes it feel like your input doesn’t matter, and instead of addressing the issues or considering new ideas, they brush it off as if their experience automatically makes them right. It creates a disconnect between leadership and the rest of the team, leaving employees feeling unheard and undervalued. There’s a noticeable inconsistency in how policies are enforced. Employees can receive write-ups for being just one minute late, while others are frequently late or absent without facing any consequences. This double standard creates a sense of unfairness and frustration, especially when punctuality is so strictly enforced for some but not for others. It feels like favoritism is at play, which can really affect morale and make the work environment feel unbalanced. The pay is another major issue at this company. The compensation is relatively low compared to industry standards, and it doesn’t really match the workload or the expectations placed on employees. Despite the responsibilities and effort required, the small pay can make it difficult to feel valued or motivated. For those seeking competitive salaries or hoping to support themselves comfortably, this can be a huge downside. It’s especially disheartening when the cost of living is high, and you don’t feel like your hard work is reflected in your paycheck.

Pros

Great people. Some managers seem to really care about their employees. Work can be satisfying, and pay is okay.

Cons

It's a 1970s mentality running a 2020s software company. Other than near-shore contractors, remote work is no longer allowed for devs at all. I'm guessing it's to justify the cost of constructing and running a shiny new building, or having no trust in your employees. Morale isn't great.
