Pros

Pay is decent. Work remotely. One of the better solutions in it's vertical.

Cons

Owned by a private equity firm so they are very cut throat. Very judgemental bunch, never felt room to learn and grow. Extremely stressful and snooty bunch to be around, especially in the Austin office. No ramp up period on the sales side, was trained for 3 months rigorously, was given about 6 months to hit numbers, made one huge sale which brought me to 80% to quota and then released with no notice. I had multiple demos scheduled with very high profile clients and prospects... I was consistently given the worst engineers and very little, to no support from home base. They very obviously play favorites here. They have you do internal presentations and review you monthly, it was a joke. Would strongly recommend looking elsewhere, plus their salary pay is garbage.

Pros

Nice co-workers and a generally supportive peer-level environment. Remote work provides flexibility and helps with work-life balance. Mitratech also has a large client base and is a well-known player in the compliance and legal technology space, which provides good exposure to enterprise customers and established products.

Cons

Stressful would be an understatement. Compensation often felt below market value for the workload and expectations. The management culture felt very clique-oriented, and advancement opportunities seemed heavily dependent on relationships rather than performance. On the sales side, there was a high level of micromanagement throughout deals, which made it difficult to work autonomously. Wins were rarely celebrated because the focus immediately shifted to the next deal in the pipeline.
