Pros

I've been here for about a year and my experience has always been positive. You're surrounded by a smart, youthful, and professional staff who all drive and support one another. The mood around the office is always either calm or charged, with occasional bouts of laughter from yonder. No one is truly alone here, there is always someone, a manager or a co-worker, who are more than willing to help you or hear you out. Whether you like it or not, the people you work with becomes something like a second family and this group always looks out for one another, even across departments. The organization is very flat, and you can talk to the CEO, the VP, or anybody about anything and they're always glad to connect with you and open to making your experience here better.

Cons

Our company has to adhere to the Vista model, which is built on giving inexperienced yet motivated people opportunities and it's a way for our parent company to maintain a less than competitive salary

Pros

Nice co-workers and a generally supportive peer-level environment. Remote work provides flexibility and helps with work-life balance. Mitratech also has a large client base and is a well-known player in the compliance and legal technology space, which provides good exposure to enterprise customers and established products.

Cons

Stressful would be an understatement. Compensation often felt below market value for the workload and expectations. The management culture felt very clique-oriented, and advancement opportunities seemed heavily dependent on relationships rather than performance. On the sales side, there was a high level of micromanagement throughout deals, which made it difficult to work autonomously. Wins were rarely celebrated because the focus immediately shifted to the next deal in the pipeline.
