+ Lots of bright people around, I felt I had plenty to learn from others + good camaraderie + weak hierarchy, the ideas of junior developers get attention + socially beneficial business with considerable impact + there's openness to lateral initiatives. It's a meritocratic place. + no micro-management. My managers gave me goals to meet, not detailed instructions on how to achieve them.
