Pros

Money, money, money! This was my first job out of college, my second year with Mondo I made almost $200K as the top sales rep in the company. They make sure that you have everything you need to get your job done, company car, computer, credit card etc. They also have a lot of great perks such as half day Friday's in the Summer (awesome!), President's Club, year end bonuses and several other rewards for the folks that stay with the company for the long haul. Once you have proven yourself they allow you to get creative when selling and will even adjust goals to fit your selling style. I want to emphasize that they only do this for the top performers. Mondo is the type of company that will take risks on people. They constantly hire folks with no to limited experience, dump a bunch of time and money into training fresh college grads, which is why you will see turn over. Unfortunately, a lot of people think they want to be in sales until they are. You will receive training and great experience with Mondo that can catapult your career to great heights. All of my colleagues that left Mondo found themselves at great tech companies all over the Bay Area including Google, DropBox, LinkedIn and many more. Others decided to stay with Mondo and have grown within the company. Mondo is one of those rare places that loves to promote from within, so if you want to get into management there is ample opportunity. If you are a highly competitive person with thick skin and likes to work hard I would suggest the Account Director role. If you like research, taking to people and technology but do not want a highly competitive role I suggest going for the recruiter position.

Cons

Long work weeks, in order to be successful you need to put in a lot of hours, minimum of 50 a week. If you are looking for a job that you can just cruise on through, this place is not for you. They expect you to work really hard and put in the hours. The benefit is that you make a ton of money the downside is that I saw a lot of folks get burnt out. This job is not for everyone. You have to decide for yourself what you value in a job and if you are up for a challenge. Throughout my time with Mondo I had some amazing bosses, Allen Cheon, Andrew bailey, Stephany Samuels and many more. There was a few months that I had a horrible manager and that was the only time I did not like my job... Sometimes the best sales people do not make good managers. I wish the executive team was more involved in the office. Their level of involvement went back and forth throughout my time there, the office was always so much more successful and fun when we had regular visits from the VP's. I was with the company during a time of growth so they were heavily involved in the beginning and as we grew and opened more offices they had to hand over more responsibility to the managers. That is just how those things go, but I always wanted the Executives around more. This point may be counter intuitive as many of us think that it is better to not have executives highly involved with the day to day, but I highly preferred working with them directly.

Pros

meritocracy uncapped commission culture of growth competitive & collaborative environment work life integration

Cons

the reality is success requires sacrifice, and anyone who says differently is lying. the pros have far outweighed any sacrifices I've made in my career here!

Pros

None that I can think of

Cons

I decided I’m sick of seeing the fake 5 star reviews. This place will tear you down, expect unrealistic metrics that don’t translate to anything, and it was an insanely toxic environment. I would not recommend working here to my worst enemy. I get why companies and hiring managers don’t work with them ever again. If you think of applying look at turnover and the amount they hire across all offices. Went to other staffing companies and realized how insane they operate it’s almost comical
