Pros
Your professional development will be facilitated, encouraged and supported on a daily basis. Having come in with no prior recruiting experience, Mondo gave me the opportunity to learn the full spectrum of technical staffing from both peers and management alike. I was particularly fond of the access / visibility given to executives from day 1, as they had a substantial impact on my development. Career opportunity is the other stand out "pro" of Mondo, considering you are given a chance to dictate your own future success. Several managers / directors have been promoted internally, giving top producers the opportunity to develop and apply their leadership capabilities. You can make an impact at Mondo. Lastly - it's fun. Mondo has an exceptional group of employees that make you feel at home. Earnings potential is above average for both individual contributors and management. Annual presidents' club vacation, gym reimbursement and paid sabbatical are a few additional incentives to sweeten the deal. Hard work is rewarded - and that is always a good time.
Cons
It's not for everybody. Not necessarily a "con" - but understand the type of person you are and the nature of the work at hand - and determine if they match up. Whether it's staffing or software, a sales driven environment is going to come with a higher degree of stress than most jobs. Expectations will be high, metrics will need to be met and top producers will be rewarded. Individuals motivated by this culture will be successful and feel at home. The job can be very, very rewarded for the right person.
